I see what you are getting at. All of science relies somewhat on Uniformitarianism: that we can expect the universe to behave much in the manner as it has in the past. I admit there is not much justification to that assumption that is not circular (it always has). But that same reasoning apples to every discipline, including religion. How do you know God will behave tomorrow as He has done in the past? Because He always has. The question is senseless.
